How does rooming work?

Will I share a room?

All our adventures are priced based on sharing a twin room; we feel this enhances your experience. You can find out more about sharing a room here.

If you'd like to upgrade to a single room, you can add this after your booking process by visiting here.

How are roommates selected?

The Preference Form on your dashboard includes a questionnaire about your sleeping habits and preferences. We use these answers to match you up with the most compatible roommate of the same gender.

Can I have my own room?

Most adventures have a limited number of single rooms available for an extra charge.

If you decide you would like a single room, we recommend adding this to your booking as soon as possible as we only have a limited amount of guaranteed single rooms set aside for each departure. Once those rooms have been allocated, we will have to request an additional single room and there is no guarantee we'll be able to secure one.

What if I don't like my roommate?

We try our best to match residents based on the rooming questions provided, but the person you are sharing with may not always be an ideal match for you. In situations like this, we suggest having a confidential conversation with your Facilitator to see what the options are.

They may also suggest having a conversation with both parties to see if an amicable resolution can be reached without making anyone involved feel uncomfortable. These conversations aren’t easy and each situation will be unique to the people experiencing it, but we do encourage opening up an honest dialogue so things like this can be resolved.

Will we have separate beds?

We will always provide two separate beds in each room unless the hotel doesn't provide twin beds or you are a couple travelling together and you specifically requested to share a bed prior to departure.
